Flutec PP6

Description
Flutec PP6 is a fully-fluorinated, odourless, colourless, non-volatile liquid which chemically is perfluorodecalin, a mixture of cis and transisomers, C10F18.

Characteristics
Flutec PP6 has the following characteristics:-

  • Non-toxic
  • Non flammable
  • Excellent chemical and thermal stability
  • High solubility for gases particularly oxygen.

Safety, Handling and Storage
 Although Flutec PP6 is considered biologically and chemically inert, good laboratory practice should be observed when handling. Flutec PP6 has an indefinite shelf life if properly stored in its original sealed container.
