Flutec PP3 is a fully-fluorinated, odourless, colourless liquid.
Flutec PP3 has the following characteristics:-
- Compatibility with most construction materials
- Non flammability
- Excellent chemical and thermal stability
- Practically non-toxic*
Flutec PP3 finds many applications including as a fluid for testing
and cooling in the electronics industry and also as a fluid for curing
low temperature cure resin systems and in various energy transfer
applications.
Although Flutec PP3 is considered biologically and
chemically inert, good laboratory practice should be observed when
handling. Flutec PP3 has an indefinite shelf life if properly stored
in its original sealed container.

* Note: The toxicity rating used is published by Gleason, M N Gosselin,
R E and Hodge, H C (Clinical Toxicology of Commercial Products, Baltimore
1963). ' Practically
non-toxic' is the lowest rating of toxicity and relates to
a lethal dose in man of more than 1Kg for a 70kg (150lb) man.
