By Air:
The Northwest of England is served
primarily by Manchester Airport. F2 Chemicals is accessible
from the Airport by Rail to Preston or Motorway.
By Rail:
The nearest Mainline railway station
is Preston, with regular services from London (Euston), Birmingham
and Glasgow.
By Road:
(light vehicles only)
Leave the M6 at junction 32 and follow the signs for A6 Preston.
At the first set of traffic lights (200 yards) turn right into
Lightfoot Lane. Follow Lightfoot Lane round to the T-junction
and then turn left. Proceed to first roundabout
(1 mile) and take the 4th exit signposted B5411 Woodplumpton
then first left into Hoyles Lane. Travel along Hoyles lane
(1.25
mile)
to the T-junction at the end and turn right onto Sidgreaves
Lane. Turn first left onto Lea Lane opposite the Saddle Pub
(500 yards), travel down Lea Lane over two bridges
(approx 1mile) and turn right before the Salwick Club (opposite
Darkinson Lane). The pedestrian entrance to F2 Chemicals is
opposite the car park.
By Road:
(HGV)
Leave the M55 motorway at junction 3a,
travel left on the A585 towards Preston for approximately 2
miles straight across two roundabouts. At the third roundabout
take the left turn to Preston (A583). Continue for approximately
2.5 miles until you see Dobbies garden centre on the right,
at the set of traffic lights take a left into Clifton village,
travel through the village and at the T Junction turn left.
Travel for approximately half a mile turn right at the Windmill
Public House. Follow the road with the BNF Westinghouse site
on the left, then turn left just after the Smiths Arms. F2
Chemicals Ltd is situated opposite the car park on the left.
